■About This Design
This goods is based on the Nishiki-e “Kingyo zukushi” left by the Japanese painter “Utagawa Kuniyoshi” who was active in the 19th century.
This nishiki-e is “Sake no zashiki”, one of the “Kingyo zukushi” series, in which goldfish and various creatures are anthropomorphized and their lovely appearances are vividly depicted.
